PRAXIS
2020

Welcome to Praxis.
Every year, this creative anthology gives AHAians a place to stretch, play and practice—and a chance to share more of ourselves with you. For 22 years, our explorations lived in paper and ink. This year, Praxis, like so much of life, has been redefined.
As our physical world contracted in 2020, our dreams stayed expansive: the spark of an unlikely idea, a distant light promising safe passage through the dark, that tender hope unvoiced. Those dreams were the oxygen for our souls, filling every new crack. And they became the catalyst for Praxis 2020.
Through poetry, prose, painting, music, video and animation, we strive to give our dreams form and place them in your hands.
Explore and dream with us.

Quote section title
“People think dreams aren’t real just because they aren’t made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” Neil Gaiman
